Chris Smith is not your Alabama Hillbilly he is your Alabama Redneck. He defines that as “rolled up baggy jeans, sleeveless T-Shirt, and Baseball cap. He refers to his music as Christian Country mountain music the kind you hear in Alabama, Tennessee or Kentucky. He is a preacher kid but never thought about being a preacher. He sounds a lot like George Jones and we know you will enjoy him. Sit back and enjoy “real Christian Country”.

Jayc has had his share of tough times.  At the age of 10 his older brother passed away. Tragically, a year later his older sister passed away which had a devastating effect on his father.  As the eldest son Jayc began to work full time at his family’s auto repair shop while attending school. During his mother’s last days she made the statement “if only our boys would do what they were put on this earth to do”.  This statement encouraged Jayc to begin to follow wherever the Lord would lead him.  As a result he began to follow Gospel music.  Today he writes and sings Country Western and has touched the hearts of many who listen to his music.

That’s what Pony Express Ministry is all about. We are Bruce Repka and wife Shara Bueler-Repka. Whether it’s a song written from personal experience or revelation, a testimony of how God has worked in our lives, or a mini-sermon on the victory in Jesus Christ, it’s our desire to share the hope, peace and abundance in Jesus Christ in this life and the assurance of eternal life in the life to come with all who will listen.

Danny Ray Harris is relatively new at Christian Country but what a great testimony.  His singing began at a very early age and he continued to develop his singing until his parents separated.  He was 11 years of age at the time.  He bounced between His mother’s home in KY and his father in AL.  This separation left him with the feeling of “never really being at home”.  He accepted Jesus in a small Baptist Church in KY at age 17.   He continued to write and sing his music in nightclubs.  In 1998 married his wife Cindy and God blessed them with a little boy whom they Garth Harris.

In 2001 Danny & Cindy were invited to visit with Marty Raybon.  After that meeting he realized his music profession was never going any where until he surrendered it to Jesus.  It was Marty’s meeting that Danny points to that changed his life.  Earlier this year Danny began his music ministry.  We were fortunate to meet Danny on our recent trip to Nashville TN at the CCMA Awards Show.  Come spend an evening with us and enjoy a true up and comer who is on fire for the Lord.
